A note before we get into numbers

If you’re here, you’re probably somewhere between excited and unsure. This page is meant to give you clarity without asking you to have everything figured out yet. You can read, take what’s helpful, and know we’ll talk through what actually fits your day together.

And just so you know:

Wedding photography coverage is offered in a few simple options, depending on how much of your day you want documented and supported.

Before your wedding day, I help you think through the parts that tend to cause the most stress. Timing, family dynamics, photo flow, and where photography fits into the day without taking it over. You do not need a perfect plan. You do need someone who can help you make grounded decisions and adjust as things unfold.

“Julia made us feel seen, loved, respected, and valued from the moment we met her until even after the last shot was taken. At no point did we feel rushed or like we had to do something inauthentic to us. Julia's photography and the experience you'll get with her is really something special.”

Wedding Coverage Options

Choose between 4, 6, and 8 hours of coverage

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN WEDDING COVERAGE:

Every wedding photography package includes more than day-of photography time. It includes planning support before the day, a grounded and present photographer on the day itself, and a full gallery of thoughtfully edited images that reflect how it actually felt to be there.

PLANNING SUPPORT

Support in the lead-up to your wedding to help things feel clear and manageable. This includes assistance with timelines and flow, talking through priorities, and thinking ahead about how photography can fit naturally into your day. I pay attention to pacing and family dynamics so you are not holding all of that alone. It’s important to me that we connect and collaborate prior to your wedding itself so on that day, I take care of the photography and you can live in the moment!

If helpful, I’m also happy to share recommendations for inclusive, values-aligned vendors in Vermont and beyond.

ON YOUR WEDDING DAY

At least one grounded, present, knowledgable photographer who knows your plan and adapts as things unfold. I work in a way that allows space for real moments while offering guidance when it’s useful, so the day feels steady rather than rushed or over-directed.

A second photographer can be added if it feels supportive for your day.

Film photography is available as an add-on to any wedding package.

Travel included for the first two hours from 05774. Fees applicable after this.

Not sure what you need yet? That’s super normal.

Most couples don’t know how much coverage makes sense until we talk through their day. These options are here to give you a starting point, not lock you into a decision. We’ll figure out what actually fits together.

Let’s talk it through

you might be wondering…

  • Most couples aren’t sure at first, and that’s completely normal. Coverage depends on how much of your day you want documented and how spread out things are. You do not need to decide this perfectly right now. We’ll talk through your plans and priorities together and land on something that fits the day you’re actually having.

    As a general reference:

4 hours works well for intimate weddings that focus on the ceremony, couple portraits, and a small portion of the celebration.

6 hours is a common choice for smaller weddings and usually covers part of getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, and meaningful reception moments.

8 hours is best for full wedding days, from getting ready through dancing, and allows for a slower, more spacious pace.

  • That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have that figured out yet.

Part of my role is helping you think through the parts of the day that tend to cause the most stress before they become stressful. That includes timing, photo flow, family dynamics, and where photography fits into the day without taking it over. You can come to me with a rough outline, a lot of questions, or just a sense of how you want the day to feel. You can absolutely book without knowing your exact timeline or coverage yet. We’ll shape the rest together.

  • Not at all!!!

Almost every couple I work with says this at first. You don’t need to know what to do with your hands or how to pose. I’ll guide you when it’s helpful and step back when it’s not. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, present, and like yourselves, not like you’re performing for the camera. If you’re worried about feeling stiff or self-conscious and want a photographer to help guide you through those feelings, that’s actually a good sign that we’ll work well together.

  • It’s a mix. I’ll offer direction when it helps you settle in or move through a moment with more ease, especially during portraits or transitions. During the rest of the day, I work in a more documentary way, letting things unfold naturally while staying attentive to what matters. The balance is always about supporting your experience first and documenting it honestly.

  • The next step is a conversation (or to fill out my contact form if you haven’t already!)

We’ll hop on a call to get to know each other, talk through what you’re planning, and see if it feels like a good fit on both sides. After that, I’ll help you choose coverage, send a contract, and get you officially on my calendar.
