A Joyful Spring Wedding at Sleepy Hollow Inn in Huntington, Vermont
Anna and Breeze got married at Sleepy Hollow Inn in Huntington, Vermont at the end of May, surrounded by a small group of family and friends who were very clearly thrilled to be there.
These two have been together for years and grew up together in a lot of ways, so the whole day had this feeling of finally getting to celebrate something everyone had already been watching grow for a long time.
They wanted a springy, garden-party kind of wedding, and that came through in the tulips and daffodils, lawn games, temporary tattoos, breakfast food, and little references to their very beloved and apparently very badly behaved cat.
Their ceremony was especially sweet. Anna’s dad officiated, her mom walked her down the aisle, and family was woven into the wedding party throughout the day.
One of my favorite parts of photographing this wedding was how joyful the whole group was. Cocktail hour felt easy and social, and the dance floor filled up almost immediately once the music started.
We also took portraits around the Sleepy Hollow property, including by the little pond, which gave us some beautiful reflections and a quiet spot away from the rest of the celebration.
Mostly, I left thinking about what a silly, sweet, loving group of people this was and how happy everyone seemed to finally be celebrating Anna and Breeze.
If you’re planning a wedding at Sleepy Hollow Inn in Huntington, Vermont, it’s a lovely spot for a relaxed celebration with outdoor space, mountain scenery, and plenty of room to spend the day with your people.
